Yes. I have Sirius, and they have a version just like it. It’s like a ipod in that it’s battery operated and chargeable, and it stores mp3’s, but it is also like a walkman so you listen to XM with the headphones on away from the need of a “base” to play. It can also record XM programming so if you want to hear something and can’t listen, you can record it.
I gotta tell you though that $350.00 is A LOT of money to pay for this (and god knows what they will sock you for the extended warranty). Maybe wait a little and the price will come down. You can get the other radios that need a dock for hella cheaper (sometimes free with a subscription), and they work just as good, probably even better. Remember even though it is small and portable and they would like you to think that it works wherever, you will still need to be able to reach the satellite, so it still won’t work indoors without an external antenna.
Nice look to it, but as the technology gets better, in half a year, this on will be “the older” model.
