What do you think of the AT&T 8925 Tilt?
I think it is the best all around phone, even besting the iphone for features and usability. i.e. satellite radio, wifi, world compatibility. I currently own the 8525 and it is magnificent. I am not thrilled by the tilt feature, but it enhances the phone. Once people realize that they can double their ability to communicate on a global level, they will switch over to the 8925. Cmon Yahoo! get with it… LOL!

Well, it would appear that you are an HTC (HTC manufactures the Tilt) and Windows Mobile fanboy so you may not like my answer. Personally, I find the Tilt way to big (thick), way to heavy and very “clunky” to use.
I am also not much of a WM5/WM6 fan as the OS can be buggy, plus closing apps only minimizes them – you have to dig deep into the settings menu in order to actually shut down your open apps (however, there are 3rd party apps that can help on this front).
To be fair, the build quality (like all HTC’s and Palms…yes, HTC manufactures those precious Treos as well) is great, the Tilt feature, while not a show stopper for me, is innovative, the screen is nice and bright and the call quality is good. That being said, what is with them throwing in the holster with the Velcro (that’s right, Velcro) closure? Yikes! Pure cheese!
I am a BlackBerry fanboy so I know that we will never see eye to eye on this…I truly prefer my Curve to any other device I have used (which is many!). All of that being said…I won’t hold your love of WM against you…we could still hang out! Ha! =P
It all boils down to your personal preference…personally, I am glad that there are so many options to choose from in the way of devices and operating systems…it would be a pretty boring place if we all had the same device!
My last word on this…once you are ready to give up your 8525, you should get a BlackBerry Curve…but if you want to stay with WM, the Tilt is a great device and you will definitely be happy with it!
